We are a registered non-profit dedicated volunteer driven Association working to ensure child care providers from Duncan to Sidney, Sooke to the Gulf Islands have representation regionally, provincially and nationally.

We also encourage child care providers to join our Association so that they may benefit from meeting monthly to network with their colleagues and find support in an atmosphere of warmth, friendship and understanding.

The Association manages to secure an incredible array of speakers/workshop presenters so that not only is there the opportunity to forge friendships, but you will take away with you new knowledge and ideas in keeping your child care business vibrant and successful.

We have a strong advocacy forum and Grievance Committee which is there to help members with any concerns with parents/licensing or any concerns you might have with running your own child care.

Our Association puts on monthly field trips where members bring their child cares for tours such as Goldstream Park for the salmon spawning, Galey Farm for a tour and a tromp through the pumpkin patch, a Christmas party, summer picnic, theme day events held every other May in honour of Child Care Month and many others.

We have a laminator for a nominal fee you will be able to access this machine to help you with your programming for your business. We often have a fundraising table at our meetings with many items available for purchase that can enhance your child care programming.

For an annual fee of $80.00 you have the opportunity to attend monthly workshops/seminars, to network and forge new friendships with those in the field, be able to join in on the childcare field trips at a nominal fee (reduced fees charged to large groups and effectively negotiated by our committee members), have a strong voice regionally as well as provincially (your membership includes BC Family Child Care Association) and nationally (which your membership also includes to Canadian Child Care Federation).

We meet the fourth Thursday of every month (except December, July and August) either on Zoom on at a specified community location at 7:15pm. The non-member fee of $15.00 paid at the door at the end of the evening can be applied to your annual membership of $80.00.
