For 27 years she has worked with children and adults who have a wonderful way of thinking.
Julie Brewer is a pre-school Montessori educator and owner of Langford Montessori. She is a Director of The Whole Dyslexic Society and a cast member of the WHO KNEW documentary. Julie has been using the neuroinclusive strategies in her Early Childhood Centre for five years with remarkable results.
In 2023, BC Campus and The Ministry of Education funded The Whole Dyslexic Society to create a professional development pilot for Early Childhood Educators. The course provided ECEs with simple self-management tools to share with all their 3-5 year olds, whether they are typical or different learners. They learn to relax, control their own energy levels and focus ready for early literacy skills. We are looking forward to another pilot in 2026.
